Sheep Horn 'Whale' Pin

Handmade by Þorgrímur Björnsson from sheep horn to depict a humpback whale which can be seen breaching from the shores of Husavik in north Iceland. Each pin is unique, approximately 3 inches long.

Sheep roam wild all spring and summer feasting on wild herbs and flowers in Iceland's mountainous highlands. Their horns are transformed into works of art by foremost artisans like Þorgrímur. Bone and reindeer antler versions are also available.
