Elín Kjartansdóttir hand knits caps from the wool of Iceland’s forystufé 'leader' sheep. There are only 1400 on earth and their wool is prized for being remarkably soft and itch-free, carefully processed according to the vision of preservationist Daníel Hansen of Fræðasetur um forystufé to retain the wool's natural oils. Elín has her own flock and sheers, combs and spins her own yarn.
Available with or without bone detail at tassel. See size chart.
