Eggert Pétursson's paintings of Icelandic flora have positioned him among Iceland’s best known contemporary artists. His magnificent botanical drawings are published for the first time in their full size at 16.5 × 11.5 inches, arranged by taxonomic order, accompanied by botanical descriptions. Published in Reykjavik by Crymogea, 2008, limited to 500 signed and numbered copies with emerald mirror edges in a wooden case, designed by Snaefríd Þorsteins and Hildigunnur Gunnarsdóttir. Recipient of the International Design Cup Award in 2010.
